Summertime means swimming! Playland pools were designed for maximum safety. Swimming instruction is the heart of the Playland program. Each group goes swimming twice a day in one of our three heated swimming pools: a beginners pool, an L-shaped instructional pool, and a deep water pool with a diving board.

Every swim period is a combination of instruction and free swim. Our Red Cross certified swim staff nurtures each child according to their ability. Both Playland counselors and campers take great pride in watching campers achieve success in the pool!

From beginners to advanced swimmers, our staff will teach your child new skills and help them reach new levels of confidence.  Our goal is to have every camper swimming independently by the end of the summer. Playland parents marvel at the strong swim progress their children make. Each camper will receive a swimming progress report.
